Virtuoso Travel Week is an annual global networking event that connects the evolving travel marketplace, exclusive to the Virtuoso community, the world’s top luxury travel network.
At the 31stannual Virtuoso Travel Week, Nomadic Expeditions was honored to receive the 2019 Sustainable Tourism Leadership Award. The honor is significant, as only a small fraction of the network’s more than 1,800 partners are recognized at Virtuoso Travel Week. Making strides in sustainability efforts is something we strive to improve everyday in both our tour operations and lodges.
Our founder and CEO, Jalsa Urubshurow, proudly credits his late father in his acceptance speech, “He taught me about protecting our planet and respecting all of the wonderful creatures who live upon it.” It is our focus to provide memorable and authentic travel to our guests without disturbing the locals, wildlife, and ecosystems that inhabit the lands in which we travel.
